Updated interior design
The 2025 Chevy Equinox sports a brand-new dashboard that uses nice materials and a more intuitive control setup. Seats are wrapped either in cloth, faux leather, or a soft-touch Evotex and sueded microfiber blend on the new ACTIV trim. The center console now features a rotary control knob for the infotainment system, making it easier, safer, and more convenient to use. Seating and cargo space are good, with a rear 60/40 split-folding bench adding much-needed versatility. It extends directly into the 11.3-inch touch-screen multimedia system, which is slightly angled toward the driver. You can say goodbye to the old Chevy Infotainment System: the touch screen in the Equinox is now powered by a Google built-in operating system, which is snappier and more intuitive to use. You no longer have to connect your Android phone to gain access to popular apps like Google Maps — though you still can if you want to, via wireless Android Auto™ or wireless Apple CarPlay®.
Like most new Chevrolet cars, the 2025 Equinox also comes with Wi-Fi hotspot compatibility for up to seven concurrent users. This provides high-speed internet access to up to 50 feet away from the vehicle, ideal for content streaming on the go (your kids will love this) or using the Equinox as a mobile hotspot while camping.
All-new ACTIV trim

Those are just some of the standard and available safety features in the Equinox, though. The SUV can also perform automatic braking maneuvers in reverse and at intersections. It can detect bicyclists in your blind spot and pedestrians in your rearview. It’s offered with a 360-degree surround view camera and digital rearview mirror.
